Harry Kane smashes another record! Bayern Munich talisman sets standard as highest-scoring English player in single Champions League campaign with goal at Bayer Leverkusen

Kane scored and bagged an assist as Bayern beat Leverkusen 2-0 in the last-16 of the Champions League to reach the quarter-finals of the competition on Tuesday night. The 31-year-old is now the first Englishman to score 10 goals in a single Champions League campaign and became only the second player from his country to reach 50 goal contributions in the tournament, alongside David Beckham.

Kane has never won a trophy in his distinguished career but now the ex-Tottenham man has a great shot at winning this season's Champions League and the Bundesliga, too. And the England captain is playing a huge part in that with his goals and assists.

Since swapping Tottenham for Bayern in the summer of 2023, Kane has scored 76 goals and notched 23 assists in just 81 appearances in all competitions.

Kane's Bayern will take on Inter in the Champions League quarter-finals next month.
