After a challenging start to his time in Saudi Arabia, Veiga has found his footing in the 2024/25 season. He has become a consistent figure in Matthias Jaissle's plans, starting 15 of the team’s 17 matches across all competitions. To date, the 22-year-old has contributed four goals and one assist, a steady output that underscores his importance to Al-Ahli.

With only 18 months left on his contract, the coming six months are expected to be crucial in determining Veiga's long-term plans. Both Manchester City and Real Madrid reportedly view the attacking midfielder as a valuable prospect, raising the stakes for Al-Ahli to either extend his contract or brace for a potential transfer. He will next be in action against Esteghlal in the AFC Champions League on Monday.
