Fabio Paratici tipped to return to Tottenham after 30-month suspension ends

Paratici stepped down from his role at Tottenham in March 2023 after being handed a 30-month ban. The Italian was sanctioned for his role in alleged financial irregularities during his time at Serie A giants Juventus. Paratici was one of several former and current Juventus executives to be punished, with his sanction seeing him forced out of football for a significant period.

Paratici's ban is now over, meaning he is available to return to work and could soon be back at Tottenham, according to Sky Sport Italia. His bond with the club is said to be "very strong" and may well see Daniel Levy re-appoint Paratic for a second spell. The 53-year-old was spotted watching Spurs beat Manchester United in the Europa League final in May and he could now head back to the Premier League side on a permanent basis to work with new manager Thomas Frank.

Paratic seems keen to return to work as soon as possible. He said: "I never stopped thinking about football... I never lost the sense of belonging to my world." 

Fans will have to wait and see what Paratici plans to do next but a return to Tottenham may well be on the cards. Spurs will play Champions League football in 2025-26, after beating United in the Europa League final, and started off their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 win over Reading in Frank's first game in charge.
