WHAT HAPPENED?
After being frozen out at Manchester United due to his public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag last August, Sancho moved back to Borussia Dortmund on a short-term loan move in the January transfer window. There had been reports suggesting that the club were looking to sell the English winger permanently in the summer. But now, Manchester Evening News claims that the Red Devils could change their stance on the player.

MEN explained that with the possible arrival of Southampton director of football Jason Wilcox at Old Trafford next season, the Premier League giants could consider retaining Sancho's services. Wilcox, who has previously worked with the England international at Manchester City's academy between 2015 and 2017, reportedly rates the player very highly. Wilcox first worked as the Cityzens' academy coach and was later promoted to the director of academy.
