Cristiano Ronaldo never stops making history! CR7 creates another new record with 100th goal for Al-Nassr

There are few guarantees in life, but Ronaldo finding himself on the scoresheet is as dependable as death and taxes. Ronaldo's Al-Nassr were in action against Al-Ahli in the Saudi Super Cup and fired home from the penalty spot in the 41st minute. There followed his traditional 'Siu' celebration followed by pointing two fingers up to heaven. He is now the first player to score 100+ goals for four clubs and his country. 

It's another chapter in the long, long history of records held, broken, and smashed by the Portugal icon. Most international goals, most international appearances, most goals in the Champions League, the only player to score in five World Cups, most goals in La Liga, most career goals - to name just a few - are all attributed to Ronaldo. 

Commentator Simon Brotherton watching the game said: "A century of goals in the yellow of Al-Nassr, what a time what a place to do it. And what a roar inside the arena."

Reports suggest Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund is ready to sell their stakes in the four clubs they own in the Pro League, including Ronaldo's Al-Nassr. A statement read: "The project focuses on monitoring the implementation of approved budgets, controlling operational expenditures, and rationalising spending. These efforts aim to minimise the risk of future financial liabilities and enhance clubs’ ability to achieve financial stability and sustainable growth within a more professional operating environment."
