Christian Pulisic not done yet! USMNT star sends ‘finish strong’ message after posting personal bests at AC Milan

The United States international headed to San Siro in 2023 determined to rediscover the professional spark that had started to fade towards the end of a four-year stint at Premier League giants Chelsea. He has found a supportive coach in Italy and the regular game time that he craves.

That faith has been rewarded with a haul of 13 goals across all competitions, while also registering eight assists, and the expectation is that a role will be found for him in Milan next season regardless of who is calling the shots in a managerial capacity – with Stefano Pioli facing mounting sack calls.

Pulisic can be rightly proud of his efforts, after adjusting to the demands of life in a new country and culture, but there will be no letting up from the 25-year-old forward with three fixtures left to take in. He has posted on social media: “Time to finish strong. All together.”

Milan, who are closing in on a runners-up finish in Serie A, will be back in action on Saturday when playing host to Cagliari. Once the domestic season comes to a close, Pulisic can turn his attention to the 2024 Copa America, which will be taking place in the United States.
