Christian Pulisic's red-hot AC Milan form contributes to incredible new signing statistic as Serie A giants reap the rewards of smart summer transfer business

Less than one year into his time with the Rossoneri, Pulisic is being dubbed one of the best right-wingers of the last decade for the Serie A side. With a combined 20 goals and assists, the American has surpassed the seasons of ex-Milan attackers Suso, Junior Messias, Keisuke Honda, Alexis Saelemaekers and Samu Castillejo.

However, he's not the only summer signing in 2023 that has found their footing in Milan this campaign. With 55 goals in Serie A, the Rossoneri are the second-best scoring team in the league, and although the American has played a key role in that with nine goals, others have found success, too.

Recent Milan signings Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor, Yunus Musah and Luka Jovic have contributed to a total of 58 goal contributions this season alongside the USMNT winger - with 40 of them being strikes that found the back of the net.

Of Milan's 77 total goals in all competitions this season, 40 have come from that group, 14 of which have come off the bench. Of the top-five leagues around Europe, no team has a better goal-scoring ratio off their bench than Milan.

In 2022-23, the Rossoneri earned just five goals from their summer signings across the entire campaign, from Tommaso Pobega and former Liverpool star Divock Origi.

Milan are riding a six-match unbeaten streak, including five-straight wins across all competitions. However, their San Siro rivals Inter hold a 14-point lead over Pulisic and his Rossoneri co-stars.

The Rossoneri are back in action this weekend against Fiorentina after nearly two weeks away due to the international break. They'll look to maintain their three-point lead over third-place Juventus, while also closing in on league leaders Inter.
