AFPWHAT HAPPENED?
The Blues are keen to sign a wide player this month and could make quite a statement by signing Garnacho from their Premier League rivals, according to The Athletic. Gittens is also on the radar as the Blues aim to bolster their squad after going five league matches without a win.
Getty Images SportDID YOU KNOW?
Garnacho may be available as United aim to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), but Chelsea will face competition from Napoli, who need a replacement for Paris Saint-Germain-bound Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Gittens is an England youth international, representing his country from Under-15s through to the Under-21s. He previously spent some time with the Blues during his youth before moving to Manchester City, who sold him to Dortmund in 2020.
