Chelsea given green light for Marc Guehi bid as Crystal Palace plan to sell Tottenham and Newcastle target and Eberechi Eze in summer transfer window

The Blues are keen to bolster their defensive ranks this season and could try to bring Guehi back to Stamford Bridge, four years after selling him. Eberechi Eze could also depart Selhurst Park this summer, with a £60 million ($80m) release clause ready to be activated, reports The Sun. Palace hope to raise around £130m ($173m) to fund a summer rebuild.

The report states that Palace boss Oliver Glasner is open to the idea of selling his star pair as he wants to use the funds to bring in six new players, aiming to make them even more physically dominant. Guehi has one year left on his deal, so this potentially represents the last chance for the club to sell him for a fee.

While Palace have reached the FA Cup final, it is said that Glasner has been disappointed by his side's inconsistency and wants them to work harder off the ball. Sunderland's Jobe Bellingham is expected to be a key summer target.

All of Palace's key players will have their minds set on the FA Cup final against Manchester City later this month, but that may be one of the last appearances in an Eagles shirt for some of them.
