Mauricio Pochettino is no longer in charge of the Blues, with the Argentine tactician bidding farewell to Stamford Bridge after just one season at the helm. The Premier League heavyweights have struggled for consistency and stability in recent times, with another change in the dugout doing little to aid their cause.
WHAT HAZARD SAID
Former fan favourite Hazard, who landed domestic and continental trophies during his time in west London, has told talkSPORT of the decision to sever ties with Pochettino: “I was a bit sad, to be fair. I think that he did a great job. I know that people want Chelsea to be in the top four but it’s just a season of transition. He’s a great manager, I wish him good luck and let’s see who is going to be there in the future.”

Pressed on whether outgoing Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi could be a good choice for Chelsea, given his Premier League experience, Hazard said: "Maybe."
The Belgian added when throwing another name into the mix, with Spanish World Cup winner Fabregas having enjoyed promotion to Serie A in 2023-24 while working as a caretaker and assistant coach: “I also have my friend in Como, he can be the first manager.”
