'Biggest refereeing scandal' - Real Madrid TV launch fresh attack on match official ahead of crunch La Liga clash with Celta Vigo

The club's TV channel has a history of going after referees and questioning decisions that go against them. Now, they have turned their ire towards Gil Manzano, who will referee their upcoming clash with Celta Vigo in La Liga.

In a new video, Madrid's TV channel describes Manzano as "the referee at the centre of the biggest refereeing scandal in recent times."

This was in reference to when Jude Bellingham's goal against Valencia, last season, was disallowed because it came after the final whistle.

Despite Madrid TV's protests, Sport states the Spanish giants have won 40 of the 52 matches when Manzano has been in charge. The antics of Los Blancos' channel is, arguably, not a good look for the club and La Liga.

Madrid, who sit four points behind league leaders Barcelona, host Celta Vigo on Sunday as they try to close the gap on their bitter rivals.
