  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Bavarian club were linked with a move for the German national team defender for a long time and he was reported to be eager to make the move, even deciding against committing to a new deal with Leverkusen. However, Kicker claims that Bayern are no longer keen on signing the player and the deal is off.

    BILD earlier reported that the reigning Bundesliga champions set a deadline for the transfer and if they did not receive an offer by the weekend, Tah would have to stay at his current club. However, the deal will now no longer take place after a section of the Bayern management opposed the transfer.

    The former Hamburger player has only a year left in his current contract and has reportedly refused to put pen to paper on a deal. Leverkusen may still aim to sell the player soon as they are would rather not see him leave for free in 2025.
