WHAT HAPPENED?
Leverkusen centre-back Jonathan Tah has made it clear that this season will be hist last with the German side. The 29-year-old, who has also been linked with Real Madrid, is a free agent at the end of this season and now he will decide where to head to next.

He told Kicker that he will "definitely" be leaving this summer, adding: "I don't have a timeframe but the club knows about it. And, as I have always done, I've communicated everything very openly. Everything was said from the beginning. There was a point when I made the decision not to extend my contract and not to stay here, and that's how it's going now."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Tah has developed a reputation as one of Germany's best defenders and a top player on the European stage. He will not be short of suitors, it just remains to be seen if he will stay in Germany, move to La Liga, or head to the Premier League this summer.

Before Tah does leave, he will try and secure Leverkusen a second straight Bundesliga title but they are eight points behind leaders Bayern with just four games remaining.
