Julian Alvarez has completed his move from Premier League champions Manchester City to La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Atletico Madrid have announced the arrival of Alvarez from City in a deal worth £82m (€95m). Diego Simeone's side announced the move with a post on social media referencing Alvarez's 'Little Spider' nickname and penchant for celebrating goals by imitating Spider Man moves. "Sorry, the designers are on vacation," the club posted on X along with the following image.
WHAT ATLETICO SAID
The club also issued the following statement: "Atlético de Madrid and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Julián Alvarez, who has signed for the club until 2030. The 24-year-old Argentinian, a full international with his country, is a versatile attacker who is quick, skilful and has a great ability to link up with his teammates. He is also capable of operating as a playmaker."
