Arsenal throw it back to the 90s! Gunners & adidas release Bring-Back collection featuring iconic Highbury home kit

The Arsenal Bring-Back collection “celebrates the unforgettable 1992–1994 home kit, a design that became synonymous with a new era at Highbury - blending football heritage, bold design, and cultural significance”. The Gunners were successful around that time, savouring an FA Cup and League Cup double in 1992-93 - with Sheffield Wednesday being beaten in the final of both competitions.

The latest offering from kit supplier adidas is a “true one-to-one recreation” of a shirt that will forever hold a special place in the hearts and minds of Arsenal supporters around the world. Said jersey is “built for both lifelong Gooners and a new generation embracing vintage football culture” as the drop “taps into the growing cultural movement around retro sportswear - where authenticity, exclusivity and style meet”.

The famous shirt, which once dominated the scene at Arsenal’s former Highbury home, features “a solid red base with vertical tonal stripes woven into the fabric, paired with classic white sleeves finished with red and navy adidas three-stripe banding”. The V-neck collar “comes in a thick white base trimmed in red and navy, staying faithful to the original early ‘90s design”.

The adidas Equipment logo sits beneath the collar and alongside the JVC sponsor in a bold white box — with “both brought back with authentic 3D puff print branding, replicating the finer details that made the original kit so distinctive”.

Alongside the iconic shirt, Arsenal have also teamed up with adidas to deliver matching hoodie and track pants, “channeling the unmistakable early ‘90s Arsenal aesthetic both on and off the pitch”. There is also a graphic tee and special edition adidas Gazelle sneaked that is “inspired by the era’s terrace culture”. The shoe features “a grey upper, navy and red three stripes, and ‘Arsenal’ in gold lettering on the side — offering fans a timeless silhouette that seamlessly connects heritage football style with everyday wear”.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright, who was a superstar for the Gunners in the early 90s en route to setting a new all-time goal record for the club, has helped to launch the Bring-Back Collection alongside current players Victor Gyokeres, Jurrien Timber, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Katie McCabe and Kyra Cooney-Cross.

The Bring-Back Collection will be available online at adidas.com and select retailers from October 23, 2025. Three activation events will be taking place across London on the matchday of November 26.

Fans will be given the chance to meet Wright, Martin Keown and Ray Parlour - three players that graced George Graham’s squad when the Premier League was introduced in 1992. In the present, Mikel Arteta is hoping that the Gunners - with another adidas jersey on their back - can land a first top-flight title since the fabled ‘Invincibles’ of 2003-04.
