The Saudi Pro League outfit are said to have already agreed personal terms with City star Ederson, as they find themselves in the market for a new No.1. It is, however, being suggested that another Brazil international is their top target.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

According to TEAMtalk, Al-Nassr would prefer to lure Alisson away from Premier League giants Liverpool. He remains of interest to them as City are demanding around €50 million (£42m/$54m) from any deal involving 30-year-old shot-stopper Ederson.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Alisson, who is a year older than his fellow countryman, is unlikely to come any cheaper as he remains under contract at Anfield until 2027. Al-Nassr are, however, ready to sound him out once again in the hope that a more suitable asking price can be found.

    TELL ME MORE

Back in June, it was claimed that Al-Nassr were readying a “monster contract offer” for Alisson, with those terms now ready to be tabled. The Saudi outfit have had to be patient in transfer talks while Brazil competed in the 2024 Copa America.

  • WHAT NEXT?

Their involvement in that competition is now over, meaning that discussions can be ramped up. Alisson has previously suggested that he has no desire to leave European football at this stage, but Al-Nassr are eager to discover if that stance has been relaxed and which Brazilian custodian they should be narrowing their focus on.
