The Serie A side are in talks with the Red Devils over a possible temporary move for the England attacker, but The Times reports they are only willing to pay half of his salary. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Even paying half of Rashford's salary would see him become their highest-paid player, as Alvaro Morata is currently top of the wage bill with a reported £150,000 per week. United may look to ship Rashford elsewhere if Milan stand firm, with Napoli and Juventus also said to be interested.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

United need to offload Rashford before they can bring in any new signings to strengthen Ruben Amorim's squad. Having been dropped from the squad altogether in recent weeks, Rashford has said he is ready to leave, but a January move is proving complicated.
