Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has revealed the club's massive expectations on new arrivals Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. The Blues signed Delap from Ipswich Town just before the Club World Cup, while Pedro sealed a transfer to Stamford Bridge from Brighton earlier this week. Colwill is currently in the US with the Blues squad who have progressed to the quarter-final of the competition.

Newcastle United have stepped up their efforts to secure the services of Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga, lodging a substantial £55 million (€64m/$75m) offer for the 23-year-old.
