Looking to shake off a rocky start to their Champions League campaign, Napoli will host Sporting Lisbon at Stadio Maradona on Wednesday.
The Italian side stumbled out of the gate with a 2-0 defeat at Manchester City and have lost two of their last three matches across all competitions. Most recently, Napoli fell 2-1 to AC Milan in Serie A, leaving Antonio Conte's squad under pressure to deliver a response in Europe.
Sporting Lisbon, meanwhile, are chasing history, aiming to win their opening two Champions League games for just the second time ever. The Portuguese outfit began brightly with a 4-1 victory over Kairat Almaty on matchday one and followed it up with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Estoril on Saturday, extending their winning streak to four matches across all competitions.

Team news & squads
SSC Napoli team news
Napoli's defensive woes continue, as key defenders Amir Rrahmani, Mathias Olivera, Leonardo Spinazzola, and Alessandro Buongiorno missed the Milan game, and Conte could be forced into a patched-together backline again.
Luca Marianucci, who started at San Siro, is not registered for the Champions League, while Giovanni Di Lorenzo must serve a suspension following his red card against City. Only Spinazzola and Olivera are likely to be available to bolster the makeshift defense. Up front, long-term absentee Romelu Lukaku remains sidelined, leaving Lorenzo Lucca and Rasmus Hojlund to fight for a starting role.
Sporting CP team news
Sporting Lisbon will be without Daniel Braganca, Nuno Santos, and Ousmane Diomande, though goalkeeper Rui Silva returned to action on Saturday.
Leading the line for the Lions will be Luis Suarez, who has already scored four goals for Colombia this month after topping the Spanish Segunda División scoring charts last season. He'll be supported by Chelsea-bound winger Geovany Quenda and the Portuguese duo of Pote Goncalves and Trincao, who will aim to create chances in the attacking third.
