When does the 2025 college football season begin?
The regular 2025 college season runs from the end of August 2025 until the middle of December, before the postseason takes place. This gets underway from December 19, with over 40 Bowl Games in NCAA Division I alone. The final College Football Playoff National Championship game takes place on January 19, 2026, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
