'World-class Bale is better than Messi & Ronaldo' - Robson-Kanu

Wales hero Hal Robson-Kanu believes international team-mate Gareth Bale is better than both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Robson-Kanu scored the second of Wales's three goals as they beat Belgium and progressed to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, though Bale failed to find the net for the second successive match.

But with the Real Madrid star set to face club-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in the last-four, Robson-Kanu believes the ex-Spurs man has the edge when it comes the world's biggest stars.

When asked about Messi and Ronaldo he told reporters: "They are both world-class players. But we have a world-class player who is better.

"Obviously he has been important and it will be a big game for both of them. But we have players who will affect the game throughout and hopefully we’ll get a positive result.

"He’s [Bale} definitely on his way [to becoming the world's best]."

While all eyes will be on Bale during Wednesday's clash in Lyon, Wales's other big name, Aaron Ramsey, will miss out after picking up a second booking of the tournament in the last-eight.

But Robson-Kanu is confident Chris Coleman's side will be able to cope without the in-form Arsenal midfielder.

"Obviously he’s a world-class player. You don’t want to lose your world-class players but we have a squad here and that’s the whole point of having a squad at a championships, so I’m sure the players who step in will perform.

"They have been training hard and waiting for this moment, so I’m sure it will be a positive game."
