USA U20 will look to make it past the U20 World Cup quarterfinals stage for the first time since 1989 when they face off against Morocco U20 at Estadio Codelco El Teniente on Sunday.
A 3-0 win over Italy in the round of 16 landed Team USA their fifth straight last-eight appearance at the tournament. The last time the U.S. entered the semifinals, they managed to secure a fourth-place finish - their best so far.
Morocco defeated South Korea 2-1 to make it this far since their fourth-place finish 10 years ago. This is only the fourth time the African nation qualified for the U20 World Cup, as compared to the USA (18/24).
