Joao Pedro and Liam Delap could see themselves start ahead of Nicolas Jackson in attack, different thing the Senegalese suspended regardless.

Jamie Gittens will also be pushing for a start alongside Cole Palmer, and Brazilian sensation Estevao will himself be looking to create an impact. Manager Enzo Maresca could also hand Dutch defender Jorrel Hato his debut on Sunday.

The treatment room is quite occupied with the likes of Benoit Badiashile, Levi Colwill and Romeo Lavia; while Trevoh Chalobah, Omari Kellyman and Wesley Fofana will need once-overs ahead of kickoff.

While Daichi Kamada is doubtful with a knee problem, all of Caleb Kporha, Chadi Riad, Cheick Doucoure, Edward Nketiah and Matheus Franca are unlikely to be available for selection due to their own respective injury issues.

The side will be pumped after clinching the FA Community Shield on penalties against Liverpool, where Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ismaila Sarr scored both in regulation time and in the shootout.

Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi, despite speculation over their future at the club, are expected to remain in South London for Palace's season opener. Walter Benitez and Borna Sosa have joined the club from PSV and Ajax, respectively.
