David Alaba had a moment to forget after scoring an amazing own goal during Austria's 2-1 victory against Malta in Klagenfurt on Monday.
The Bayern Munich defender, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent days, scored in the 87th minute against the European minnows.
There appeared little danger when he collected the ball from his goalkeeper Ramazan Ozcan although two Maltese attackers were quick to close him down.

Alaba appeared unflustered, however, calmly turning goalwards and, not noticing Ozcan was no longer on his line, sweeping the ball home.
