Evra's agent is currently in London to try to reach an agreement with Palace - who are currently 17th in the Premier League table, one point above the bottom three - as a switch to Selhurst Park edges closer.

The Frenchman spent nine seasons at Old Trafford having arrived from Monaco, and helped the Red Devils to five Premier League titles, five Community Shields, three League Cups, and a Champions League trophy.

Evra has made just three starts for the Serie A champions this season, however, and a January exit has been mooted for some time.

Should the 35-year-old leave Turin, Juventus will enquire about the possibility of SeadKolasinac of Schalke, who has impressed Juve chiefs in his 11 Bundesliga appearances this term.
