Chelsea are targeting Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson to be the long-term replacement for John Terry, according to the Mirror.
Antonio Conte will have to pay at least £30 million for the centre-back, having previously offered a lower amount for the 23-year-old. Gibson has played 20 Premier League games for Middlesbrough this season, having helped them win promotion from the Championship.
Terry's contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season, and he could be set to leave the club permanently. The England international's departure would then pave the way for a revised offer for the Boro defender.
