The No. 1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish are set to take on the No. 8 Georgetown Huskies in the first round of the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday, May 18.

Notre Dame finished the regular season with a 13-1 record and are looking to repeat as NCAA Champions after defeating Duke in last year's National Championship. The Fighting Irish have already defeated the University at Albany in the first round 14-9 after the Great Danes won against Sacred Heart in the opening round.

Georgetown on the other hand obtained a 13-3 record throughout the year and defeated Penn State 12-9 in the first round of the tournament.
