Manchester United are planning an offer for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, according to the Sun.

The Red Devils have heavily scouted Wan-Bissaka over the course of the season and the reports have impressed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The club are looking for a replacement for Antonio Valencia but will have to fight off the likes of Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Manchester City for his signature.

Real Madrid players pushed for Zidane over Mourinho claims Calderon

Senior Real Madrid players pushed for Zinedine Zidane to be appointed as head coach instead of Jose Mourinho, according to former club president Ramon Calderon.

Mourinho had been linked with a return to the club he left in 2013, prompting reports of deep concern among some leading figures in the Madrid dressing room and Zidane was appointed again on Monday.

And Calderon, Madrid president between 2006 and 2009, thinks some of the current squad lobbied for Zidane's return precisely because of his less confrontational manner.

Former USMNT Jones to sign with MASL team

Former United States international Jermaine Jones will sign with the arena soccer league side the Ontario Fury according to SI.com.

The club has tweeted they will announce a former USMNT player will sign with them on Tuesday and that player is the former Schalke and Galaxy midfielder.

He joins Landon Donovan, who plays for the San Diego Sockers, as yet another USMNT player to feature in the league. 

West Brom hold discussions with Jokanovic

West Bromwich have held discussions with former Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic over their vacant position, according to Sky Sports.

The Baggies sacked Darren Moore after a draw to Ipswich last weekend despite sitting fourth in the Championship and in the promotion playoff spots.

While the club has held talks with Jokanovic's representatives, he has yet to speak directly with the board or chief executive Mark Jenkins. 

Bale agrees terms with Manchester United

Gareth Bale has agreed to terms with Manchester United, but the club may not meet Real Madrid's terms for a sale, according to Don Balon.

The Wales international has a deal with the Red Devils, who would be willing to spend €80 million (£68m/$90m) for Bale.

However, Madrid want €120m for the winger and if no deal is agreed upon, Bale has threatened to run down his contract.

Calabria to reject Man Utd and Tottenham

AC Milan right-back Davide Calabria is set to reject both Manchester United and Tottenham to stay with the Serie A club, according to Calciomercato.com.

The two Premier League clubs are likely to target a move for Calabria this summer but Milan executives believe he will not be swayed by their interest.

Though a new contract is not a priority at the moment, Calabria's deal is long-term, running to the summer of 2022. 

 

Lewandowski happy to stay at Bayern

Robert Lewandowski has said he would be happy to stay and retire at Bayern Munich, despite rumours linking him with Real Madrid, according to Welt am Sonntag.

The Polish striker has netted 17 goals and registered nine assists in the Bundesliga this season as Bayern have recovered from a slow start to go top of the table on goal-difference, ahead of his former club Borussia Dortmund.

"Everything is going very well here, I'm feeling well and I'm satisfied, the communication between the club is good," he said.

Gundogan hints at City exit

Ilkay Gundogan has admitted he is open to a new challenge away from Manchester City.

The 28-year-old midfielder has featured 37 times in all competitions this season but is largely considered to be behind Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho in the midfield pecking order, often filling in for others as Pep Guardiola rotates or covering for injuries.

The possibility of him extending his stay in Manchester remains, with contract talks ongoing, but no conclusion has been reached yet.

Wanda Nara: Icardi wants to stay at Inter

Wanda Nara, wife and agent of Inter talisman Mauro Icardi, says the 26-year-old striker does not want to leave the club despite the mysterious events of the last few weeks.

Icardi has not played since he was stripped of the captaincy in February, with the player insisting that he is recovering from a knee injury, while reports swirl he could be on the move in the summer.

Icardi added fuel to the fire when he did not appear at San Siro for Inter's latest match against SPAL, but Wanda insists that this was nothing out of the ordinary.

Wolves trigger Jimenez release clause

The promise of an expensive £300 million ($394m) overhaul of Real Madrid is part of what lured Zinedine Zidane back to the post, accoridng to the Independent.

The club wants to sign big name stars this summer, with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen among the names mooted. 

To bring in additional funds, Madrid will sell Gareth Bale and Luka Modric, with Florentino Perez making concessions in his transfer plans to get back Zidane. 

Newcastle keeping tabs on Zaniolo
