WHAT HAPPENED?
The Reds captain is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract and from January 1st he will be free to negotiate deals with clubs outside of the Premier League. Amid speculation over his future at Anfield, Van Dijk said there is "no deadline" when it comes to making a decision on his future.

Salah, who starred with a brace against Spurs, is also in the final year of his existing contract and is yet to sign a new deal. Speaking on the Egyptian's future, Van Dijk added: "The numbers speak for themselves. He’s a very special athlete. He’s done amazingly for the club and hopefully, he can play his best season ever for the club, stay important with his goals and assists and be clinical. He is a professional. We’ve been there, he’s been there, so onto the next (game). And next season? I don’t know."
