The England captain tends to bag most of his goals from close range, but proved that with a club in his hands he's a real danger from distance. Luckily for Kane, his unbelievable shot — which reached the green in one shot on a par four hole — was captured on camera for the world to see.

Many football fans will already know that Kane is a keen golfer; not long after joining Bayern last summer, he could be found showcasing his skills to his new team-mates at a mid-season training camp in Portugal. Clearly that work is paying off, given the quality of this latest shot, which was posted on Instagram by PGA golf pro Rick Sheils.

"Oh my god, I thought it went in the hole!" Kane said to Shiels after his close miss. "I've never had a hole in one before, and nearly had one on a par four on camera! My heart skipped a beat. We'll take it."

Kane's Bayern Munich side are leading the charge at the top of the Bundesliga this season; with Leverkusen several points behind and their boss Xabi Alonso being linked with a move away, Kompany's team are emerging as the clear favourites for the league title. It would be Kane's first ever major trophy, a moment that may even surpass his incredible golf shot. Next up in the league they face Union Berlin.
