This time around, Wrexham were able to claim a notable 2-2 draw, with Luke Bolton and Jack Marriott getting their goals. Christopher Nkunku had opened the scoring for Chelsea, while Lesley Ugochukwu rounded it off eight minutes from time.

There was no holding back by either team, with the tone being set inside the opening seconds. A heavy touch from Colwill saw McClean step in and give the Blues defender a slight nudge, which did not go down well. Colwill grabbed McClean by the collar as they shoved one another towards the touchline.
WHAT NEXT?
Wrexham boss Parkinson was forced to step in at one stage, as he endeavoured to keep the peace, with players from both teams getting caught up in an unsightly melee. As it was a pre-season game, no cards were handed out by the match referee – with Red Dragons co-owner Rob McElhenney watching on from the stands.
