VIDEO: Cristiano Ronaldo's 39th birthday celebrated in unique style by Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr

The Portugal superstar celebrated turning 39 on Monday and his current employers didn't hold back in their tribute to the club captain. In a post shared on X, the Saudi outfit combined 39 angles of Ronaldo's 'Siuu' celebration while in an Al-Nassr shirt. Fans flooded the replies to leave their best wishes for the mercurial forward.

The Al-Nassr admin wouldn't have struggled to find enough clips featuring the iconic celebration. Ronaldo has been flying since arriving in the Middle East in late 2022 and has, curiously, scored 38 goals in his 44 matches with Al-Nassr. The Portugal international scored a whopping 54 for club and country in 2023, staking his claim as the world's top scorer for the calendar year.

Those efforts were recognised at Dubai's Globe Soccer Awards last month, with the 39-year-old picking up three gongs. Ronaldo was ultimately snubbed in football's more prestigious accolades, though, drawing a blank in both Ballon d'Or and FIFA The Best ceremonies.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is currently nursing an injury which saw him miss the eagerly-anticipated clash with Lionel Messi's Inter Miami last week. Ronaldo was able to watch from afar, reacting with glee as his side cruised to a stunning 6-0 victory.
