The 25-year-old's new contract reportedly has a massive release clause of €130 million (£112m/$141m) but despite his increased value in the transfer market, the Blues could still make a move for him considering his willingness to come to England. Real Madrid are also eyeing a move for the forward as they are planning to end their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe.
GettyWHAT NEXT FOR VICTOR OSIMHEN?
For now, Osimhen remains focused on his national side as he is currently in the Ivory Coast for the AFCON tournament. The Super Eagles began their journey in the competition with a 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea and will next take on the hosts on Thursday.
