USWNT legend Ali Krieger leads US Women to TST title, claiming $1M prize in win over North Carolina Courage

In an absolutely thrilling final, the US Women defeated the NC Courage 6-3 via a Target Score Time winner from Talia DellaPeruta, claiming The Soccer Tournament title in Cary, N.C.

The match ended regulation 5-3 in favor of the US, and after two three-minute periods without a goal, they found the back of the net in a 5v5 situation.

The two sides traded goals throughout the match before the US stormed off with a lead after finding their fourth of the match. Strikes from DellaPeruta, Kenne Kessler, Bella Sember, Steph McCaffrey and Casey Loyd helped them secure the victory.

In the process, they won the $1M prize and are the first-ever champions of the women's division at TST.

This was the inaugural edition of the women's tournament at TST. Eight teams competed in the Group Stage, and with their victory Monday night, the US Women became the first titlist.

The team will split the winnings across the board, and celebrate their incredible victory over the next few days. Soon thereafter, preparations for the 2025 edition of the tournament will begin, as they will look to run it back next year.
