USMNT star Tim Weah says no to Everton loan offer! Juventus wingback determined to fight for Bianconeri role

According to The Guardian, the English Premier League side made a proposal to Juventus for the American. However, Weah himself turned down the move, with the news being the first of a potential exit from Turin this January.

Weah has struggled to maintain a starting XI role with the Bianconeri this season, but at the same time, has been bit by the injury bug a few times as well. The inconsistency in his availability had led to Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri making Weah a go-to option off the bench for the Old Lady, while also implementing him as a wingback.

For the USMNT, Weah is a dynamic attacking winger, and with Everton's system that might be the role that Sean Dyche would want to use him in. Regardless though, Weah has turned down the offer, with it appearing that he's looking to fight for his spot in Italy.

Before moving to Juventus, Weah played at Lille and PSG - briefly overlapping with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in the French capital.

It's a Serie A title clash for the ages this weekend, as Juventus take on Inter Milan in a one-vs-two matchup in the league. The Bianconeri's opposition have two games in-hand, but Juve hold a two-point lead over their arch rivals. With a win, Weah and Co. could go five points clear of the second-place team in the league.
