    Tillman played a crucial role for the reigning champions on Sunday, bagging a brace in a 3-1 league win. The first came from a corner, the USMNT midfielder instinctively turning home after the ball fell to him in the box. He completed his duo with a wonderfully struck free kick in the 68th minute.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

    After bagging nine goals in the Eredivisie last season, Tillman has found form again. The brace takes him to four on the campaign - and well on pace to eclipse that total.

    Despite his impact for the Dutch club, Tillman has yet to establish himself for the U.S. national team. The former Rangers midfielder has just 14 caps to his name. He will hope that the arrival of new manager Mauricio Pochettino will present more opportunities.
