<p>The 22-year-old has been lights-out since moving from Internacional this January, immediately earning a spot in the starting XI for Betis. THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>With his brilliant performances of late, it would be wrong to say that Cardoso isn't in the starting XI picture for the USMNT right now. With Tyler Adams still injured, he might be the next man up this March in the Concacaf Nations League semi-finals against Jamaica.</p><p>For now, though, he will have to focus on his performances for his club, with a big one on their radar next. They'll host Antoine Griezmann and Atletico Madrid on Sunday as they look to make it six straight matches unbeaten in La Liga. </p>
