Revealed: Why Thomas Tuchel was spotted partying with ex-Chelsea players as new England manager is 'wowed by mind-reader'

Tuchel, who is gearing up to manage the England team for the very first time later this month, was spotted partying with his ex-Blues stars Reece James, Jorginho, Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell in London on Saturday. The big reunion happened at former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia's 50th birthday party, according to the Daily Mail.

The report adds that Tuchel and the players present were left mesmerised by the performance of 'master mentalist' Lior Suchard, who stole the show on the night. The Israeli mentalist and performer got the players involved in an act, which was the highlight of the party for many of the attendees at the private event.

With just over two weeks left before Tuchel formally begins his journey as Three Lions boss, the German manager will be trying to watch every game possible ahead of selecting his first squad. The ex-Bayern Munich boss, however, skipped Manchester City's FA Cup clash against Plymouth Argyle last Saturday, to attend Granovskaia's party. He has already been criticised for being able to work from home, as he occasionally returns to Germany to see his family.

England will play their first match under Tuchel's tutelage on March 21 against Albania in a 2026 World Cup qualifying match before facing Latvia on March 25.
