Having acquired plenty of pedigree, Wrexham may also look to bring in some potential. According to the Liverpool Echo, Koumas - the son of ex-Wales star Jason - is attracting interest from a number of teams in the Championship.

The 19-year-old winger has figured for parent club Liverpool in pre-season - having opened his goal account for them on debut in an FA Cup win over Southampton in 2024 - and spent last season on loan at Stoke City.

The teenager is said to be wanted by Wrexham, Birmingham, Hull City, Preston, Oxford and La Liga side Sevilla. Reynolds, McElhenney and Brady will be hoping that the ambitious projects they form part of can sway important transfer decisions in their favour.
