GettyTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim is spending a lot of time assessing his best options in every position, including in the goalkeeper department. Onana was brought to suit Erik ten Hag's system but under the new head coach, there may be a change in approach when it comes to playing out from the back. He was also at fault for a Wolves goal scored directly from a corner on Boxing Day, not his first howler in a United shirt.

There is no guarantee that United move for Lammens in January, particularly with reports suggesting there are limited funds for Amorim to play with this winter. Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and Championship leaders Leeds are also monitoring the goalkeeper.
