THE BIGGER PICTURE
Just hours after spearheading Sporting CP's 4-2 comeback win against Braga on Sunday in his last match in charge of the Portuguese club, Amorim hopped on to a flight for Manchester and immediately travelled to Carrington, where he was greeted by Berrada, Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox. The trio introduced the 39-year-old to the key staff members at United and gave him a tour of the training centre as he prepares to take charge of the club.
