Ruben Amorim explains decision to recall Marcus Rashford after naming exiled forward on bench for Newcastle clash

Manchester United announced their squad for the clash against Newcastle United with Rashford surprisingly included in the team sheet after having previously been exiled by Amorim. The new Manchester United boss has now explained his decision to bring the 27-year-old back into the fold for the team's final game of 2024.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Amorim said: "Selection. We have a lot of players outside. Every week I chose my players and this time he is here."
