Will wear No.19 shirt at Barcelona
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Brazilian wonderkid, who arrived at Barcelona at the end of December, was included in their matchday squad for the Las Palmas clash despite not being registered with La Liga. The young attacker has even started training with the main squad after a brief winter break, following his move from Athletico Paranaense.

But on Wednesday, the Catalan giants confirmed that the player has been registered with the league and is eligible to make his debut for the reigning La Liga champions on Thursday at Gran Canaria Stadium.
DID YOU KNOW?
After arriving at the club, the 18-year-old was handed the No.19 shirt, a number that club legend Lionel Messi used to don in the initial days of his playing career. The Argentine switched to the iconic No.10 after Ronaldinho left the club.

WHAT NEXT FOR BARCELONA?
Xavi's side, who are already 10 points behind league leaders Real Madrid and Girona, cannot afford to drop any more points if they want to remain in the title race this season. After facing Las Palmas, they will take on Barbastro in a Copa del Rey round-of-32 matchup on Sunday.
