Several fans took to X to share their opinion on the possibility of removal of the highly controversial VAR from the Premier League starting from the 2024/25 campaign.A fan named <a href="https://twitter.com/willreyner/status/1790783405208068135" target="_blank">Will Reyner</a> expressed frustration over the referees more than the technology as he wrote, "Use it like they do in Europe. Not difficult. It’s corrupt and wastes our time! WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING

There have been several VAR-related controversies throughout the current season, most notably <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/explained-var-unbelievable-error-nine-man-liverpool-suffered-heartbreak-spurs/blt5fa8f6b635f38be3" target="_blank">Liverpool's wrongly disallowed goal against Tottenham</a> earlier in the campaign. Nottingham Forest have also repeatedly complained about the usage of the technology, even writing to the Premier League to protest against it.
