‘A diamond’ - Real Madrid starlet Arda Guler lauded after making first start in six months in Copa del Rey win over Arandina

The Turkish starlet signed for the Spanish giants in the summer but has suffered from multiple injuries preventing him from making his debut until he started against Arandina in the Copa del Rey round of 32 yesterday. The youngster was praised by Carlo Ancelotti and teammate Joselu after the game.

The youngster came to the Spanish capital with a lot of attention on him due to his rising fame in Turkey and after he rejected FC Barcelona and multiple other top clubs to join Madrid. The debut will definitely have taken a lot of nerves off the young Turk as he looks to jumpstart his career with the Galacticos.

The 18-year-old will likely be in action during the Blancos' next game when they take on Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Supercup semi-final in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, January 10.
