On Wednesday, it was revealed that Arsenal had submitted an official bid to RB Leipzig for Sesko. However, the Bundesliga side were said to be unwilling to sell the striker, rated at £70 million ($86m) by Leipzig's top brass. Head coach Rose has now doubled down on the club's commitment to keep the Slovenian at Red Bull Arena until the end of the season.

When questioned by Sky Germany's Philipp Hinze whether it was still the case that Sesko wouldn't be sold this month, Rose simply responded: "Yes, that’s still the case!"
