Paul Pogba transfer saga takes another twist as new club challenges Monaco to signing ex-Man Utd and Juventus midfielder

According to a report from Footmercato, Pogba is the subject of renewed transfer interest, with Al-Ittihad entering the race to sign the former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder. The 32-year-old, who has not played since September 2023 due to a doping ban, has reportedly held advanced talks with Monaco, but discussions are now complicated by contractual terms.

Al-Ittihad, which is home to stars like Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante, have been in touch with Pogba lately. But internal governance issues prevent the Saudi Pro League team from moving forward right now.

Pogba, whose doping ban ended in March, is preparing for a potential return to football and has made his ambition to feature in the 2026 World Cup clear.
