<p>According to <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1885035218358182117" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano</a>, Dorgu will travel to Manchester this weekend to complete his <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-reach-patrick-dorgu-agreement-lecce-ruben-amorim/blt8771fc08c964f6f3" target="_blank">€35m (£29.3m) move to the Premier League side</a>. He added that the <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1885023508121481228" target="_blank">20-year-old's medical</a> should take place on Saturday and there are no issues with documentation or contracts.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The left-back position has been a troublesome one for United in recent years, due to the long-term injuries of <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/tyrell-malacia-nightmare-man-utd-spell-end-after-reaching-agreement-over-january-exit/blt87ceb811cfe65003">Tyrell Malacia</a> and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/devastated-heartbroken-luke-shaw-statement-new-muscle-injury-rule-man-utd-defender-out/blt36000955aeea2070" target="_blank">Luke Shaw</a>. The Red Devils will hope those issues are over with the signing of Denmark international Dorgu.</p>

<p>Dorgu began his footballing career at Copenhagen team Husum Boldklub before moving to FC Nordsjaelland in 2020. Lecce came calling in 2023 and now he is off to Old Trafford.</p>
