Paris Saint-Germain wages: Who is the best paid player at Les Parisiens and everything you need to know about PSG's salary bill

Paris Saint-Germain are considered one of Europe's football powerhouses, with their dominance in Ligue 1 solidifying their stature. The acquisition by Qatari billionaire Nasser al-Khelaifi has propelled PSG to global prominence, both on and off the pitch.

Despite their national success, PSG's pursuit of the UEFA Champions League trophy remains elusive, which is surprising given their financial strength and track record of signing top-tier talent like Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Kylian Mbappe. This failure to secure Europe's top prize has been a major puzzle for the club.

However, following Mbappe's departure, PSG have shifted their strategy. The focus is now on building a squad that balances youthful potential with experienced players. The club aims to invest in young talent capable of delivering world-class performances for the long term, while still spending big, in hopes of finally capturing the Champions League title they've long coveted.

So, who is the highest earner at the Parc des Princes this season? And who is on the opposite end of the spectrum?

GOAL delved into the numbers from Capology and found out!

    Midfielders

The fans will not be too perplexed to find out that Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves share the distinction of being the highest-paid midfielder at the club.

In third place is the exciting youngster Warren Zaire-Emery, followed by Kang-in Lee. However, the fact that Vitinha finds himself below all the aforementioned names might not sit well with the PSG faithful after the sort of performances he has given since arriving in 2022.

Promising teenager Senny Mayulu is the lowest-paid PSG midfielder.

    NameSalary
    Fabian Ruiz€9,090,000
    Joao Neves€9,090,000
    Warren Zaire-Emery€8,400,000
    Kang-in Lee€7,270,000

    Attackers

Ousmane Dembele will have no complaints about his €20 million annual package, which made him the highest-paid player at the club following his arrival from Barcelona in 2023. In second place on this list is new signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The fans won't be too pleased to find out that Marco Asensio is the third-highest paid attacker at the club, ahead of Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos.

Ibrahim Mbaye is the lowest-paid attacker in not just attack, but also overall.
