Nottingham Forest eyeing Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz as midfielder considers leaving Alisha Lehmann in Turin

Per Tuttosport, Forest are considering a summer swoop to sign Luiz from Juventus. The Serie A club are said to be willing to do a deal for the Brazilian, and an initial loan has been touted, potentially with a purchase option that could become an obligation if certain conditions are met.

Luiz joined Juventus along with his partner, Alisha Lehmann, in 2024, but he has found it hard to earn consistent minutes in Italy. This season, he has struggled immensely with muscle injuries and has been limited to just three starts in Serie A.

The report claims that Forest have recently intensified their efforts to sign Luiz as they draw up a shortlist that could be bolstered by Champions League qualification. Forest currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, but they are just three points clear of Aston Villa in seventh, pointing towards a tight end to the campaign.

Forest face Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup this weekend. They then face Brentford on the following Thursday.
